HW group presents new device Poseidon2 3468. It's new generation of Poseidon2 products.
LAN device for remote monitoring, web thermostat, industrial-telco version. Supports external RJ11 sensors (voltage, current, illumination, humidity), 4x digital dry contact input and 2x 110/230V relay output. Supports e-mail alerts, SNMP, Modbus/TCP, XML, and the Sensdesk.com online portal.

New device: HWg-STE plus

HW group presents new device HWg-STE plus, Ethernet thermometer with Digital Inputs.

WEB-based temperature and humidity measurement with two Digital Inputs for dry contacts. Supports SNMP and the SensDesk online portal. Sends an e-mail when a contact is closed or the temperature is high. Supplied with PDMS – Windows software for producing MS Excel reports. Supports SNMP. Supplied with one temperature probe, power adapter and software.

New useful application: HWg-Upgrader

HW group has developed the HWg-Upgrader application which allows a mass firmware update/upgrade and configuration of HWg devices via Ethernet.

HWg-Upgrader

  • Allows mass HWg devices firmware update/upgrade via Ethernet.
  • Devices for upgrade can be selected:
    • Using UDP Setup – searches for devices in local network
    • Based on a list of IP addresses (txt file)
  • Can filter devices from the list based on device type or based on their firmware version.
  • Can install downloaded firmware file or use a central HW group register.
  • configuration XML can be uploaded

HWg-Upgrader is then a suitable tool for large projects and corporate systems administration.

New product: Expander 4xDI 1W-UNI

Expansion module for connecting dry contacts to 1-Wire UNI (RJ11) bus. It's an expansion box connecting 4 dry contact inputs to Ares and Poseidon units. Connect another button, door contact, smoke detector etc. to the 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11).

CS54: Concrete monitoring (temperature, humidity)

Remote monitoring of concrete drying/hardening or substrate drying. Portable solution, remote monitoring + temperature and humidity logging. When a threshold is reached, a text message is sent and the construction can continue with the next step. Measurements are logged and sent by e-mail over GSM/GPRS, charts can be viewed remotely.

I/O Controller 2: Full serial port and I/O to Ethernet

I/O Controller 2 connects a full RS-232(485) serial port and digital I/O to the Ethernet. Configuration is Web-based. The serial port can be used as a terminal server (virtual serial port). Digital inputs and outputs can be controlled over the Web or through Modbus/TCP.

Applications

  • Link up to eight buttons / switches with a SW application.
  • Connect your RS-232 devices to your LAN – barcode / RFID scanners, serial printers, displays.
  • The outputs can, for example, open a door, turn on a horn, or disconnect power – remotely over the network.
