Spider

Spider connects 4 dry contacts or 1-Wire bus RJ11 sensors to Poseidon 2250 and RS-485 (RJ45) bus. Spider is an active converter between RS-485 and 1-Wire bus. Spider units can be daisy chain connected.

Spider makes it easier to connect more sensors over longer distances using the RS-485 bus. Suitable for applications in rooms and larger areas.

Typical application

• Enlarging the number of inputs for connection of dry contacts for Poseidon 2250.
• Gathering values from 19” racks, RS-485 bus runs along the wall.
• Temperature monitoring in supermarket freezers, RS-485 bus runs along the wall behind the freezers.

HWg-SH3: IP-based Rack Access Control System with RFID & SNMP

HWg-SH3 is a cabinet IP Access Control System (ACS) with RFID and SNMP interface. User database is configurable over the Web. Can be used as a stand-alone card access system with web management (Offline) or as a central cabinet Access Control System (Online). Remote monitoring over Email and SNMP.

HWg-SH3 is an autonomous cabinet access control system (ACS) with RFID. The database of authorized tags/cards can be managed remotely over the Web.
HWg-SH3 uses a local RFID reader and controls one or two swing handles (front and rear doors of a cabinet).

Poseidon 4001: Cabinet Access Control System & Environment Monitor

Poseidon 4001 is rack Access Control System and SNMP environment monitoring for 19" cabinets. It's solution for datacenter cabinets IP-based ACS integrated with remote rack monitoring.

Poseidon 4001 is a two-in-one solution for monitoring probes (temperature, doors, voltage, power) and access control (swing handle, RFID reader). Supports an open and fully documented M2M interface (SNMP, XML).

HWg-WLD Relay: Water leak detector

HWg-WLD Relay detects a water leak anywhere along the length of the connected sensing cable (2+2m – 6.5+6.5ft). Water leak or cable disconnection is indicated by activating a relay (NO/NC). The sensor can be connected to a Poseidon unit over the 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11).

HWg-WLD Relay can be installed stand-alone using a 12VDC power supply and a relay output, or as a sensor connected to a Poseidon unit over the 1-Wire UNI bus. Relay outputs indicate a detected water leak or cable disconnection.
HWg-WLD Relay is supplied with a 2m (6.5ft) sensing cable.

HWg special solution: SH2 swinghandle access system

Online cabinet Security Door Control (SDC) with Web & SNMP interface. HWg-SH2 can control front & rear doors of one cabinet. Swinghandle lock access system is controller over IP using documented M2M protocols. With the original HW group software, doors can be opened even with text messages (SMS).

HWg-SH2 is an IP-based remote cabinet door access control system. Front and rear doors of one cabinet (rack) can be connected to one HWg-SH2 unit.
The HWg-SH2 is IP lock control for various electronic locks. It is typically used with HWg-SH1 (H3-EM Electronic Locking SwingHandle by Southco) for cabinet door control.

Typical application

The HWg-SH2 is typically used to control access to a rack in a data center. It is usually installed in hosting racks (collocation centers) or restricted-access racks. HWg-SH2 is a cost-effective solution that is easy to install.
